Glucocil Review: My Disappointing Results and Why I Didn't Like It!

Glucocil is a capsule based, all natural product designed to normalize blood sugar levels. It also promotes weight loss, improves cardiovascular health and increases the absorption of sugars and other unhealthy carbohydrates. I learned on the official website that the main enzyme that is responsible for the digestion of sugars is called alpha glucosidase. When those sugars are broken down, our insulin levels spike leading to high blood sugar. Glucocil is designed to slow down the digestive actions of this enzyme.

There are about a dozen or more natural herbal ingredients in Glucocil. Here’s an overview of them …

Proprietary Mulberry Leaf Extract, Gymnema Sylvestre Extract, and Insulina Leaf Extract

I’ve grouped these three ingredients together because they work together to reduce the amount of glucose that is absorbed into the liver and intestines, while increasing the amount available to muscle cells for energy.

ALA is another compound that increases glucose absorption into cells. It also helps with weight loss.

The extract of the Banaba Leaf has been used for centuries as an energy booster. It, too, is able to promote an enhanced glucose uptake by your body’s muscle cells.

As well as having weight loss properties in its own right, berberine also acts as a catalyst to improve the bioavailability and enhance the effectiveness of all of the other ingredients in this product.

Is Glucocil Worth the Money?

Having absorbed all the information I could, and having read a ton of glowing testimonials, I had high hopes that Glucocil would finally be the solution to my blood sugar problems. I was sitting at 210 mg/dl on the day my package arrived. I began taking the stated dosage of 4 tablets per day that very morning and monitored my levels every day going forward. 

Realistically, I knew that things wouldn’t change overnight, so I tried to be patient. But when, after seven days, rather than going down, my blood sugar level went up to 214 mg/dl, I began to get a little concerned.
